Gather at Cochin Airport for your flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival in Guwahati, our
representative will greet you and take you to the hotel. In the evening, we will head out to
admire the breathtaking view of the Brahmaputra River. Later, return to the hotel for an
overnight stay.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, the journey from Guwahati Hotel to Shillong begins with a
scenic transfer via Umion Lake. The picturesque drive takes approximately 4 hours to
traverse the stunning landscapes leading to the hill station of Shillong. Along the way, a stop
at Borapani Lake, also known as Umiam Lake, offers a captivating view of the largest
artificial lake in Meghalaya, nestled amidst the tranquil Sylvan hills. Upon arrival in Shillong,
settling in at the hotel marks the beginning of a leisurely day, allowing time for relaxation
and exploration. As the day unfolds, visitors can immerse themselves in the charm of
Shillong before retiring for a peaceful night’s rest. The journey not only promises a seamless

towards the mystical land of Cherrapunjee, situated 82 kilometers away, renowned as the
most rain-drenched spot on the planet. Traverse the enchanting route adorned with verdant
pine forests and ethereal mists, culminating in the enchanting realm of Cherrapunjee. Delight
in the awe-inspiring cascades and surreal limestone caverns that adorn the landscape,
including the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Caves, and the
captivating Garden of Caves. Embark on the next leg of your expedition to Shillong, a mere 54
kilometers away, affectionately known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ and the quaint capital of
Meghalaya. Wrap up your day by basking in the warm embrace of Shillong as you nestle in for

VISIT
Commence the day by rising early, partaking in breakfast, and embarking on a 3-hour, 85-
kilometer journey to Mawlynnong. This day offers an opportunity to explore Mawlynnong,
renowned as the cleanest village in Asia. A highlight includes traversing the skywalk to
behold the breathtaking Living Root Bridge. Following lunch, proceed towards Dawki, a
pivotal point for trade between India and Bangladesh. The 45-kilometer drive to Dawki is a
scenic route through steep gorges and ravines, promising an exhilarating experience. Upon
arrival, a visit to the Dawki Tamabil Border, primarily utilized for coal transportation to
Bangladesh, is recommended. Subsequently, a visit to the Umngot River, serving as the
natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills and Hima Khyrim of Khasi Hills, featuring
a single-span suspension bridge. Dawki Lake, situated amidst the picturesque West Jaintia
Hills district in Meghalaya, is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and serene surroundings.
Boats are available for hire at the road intersection leading to the border, providing a tranquil
voyage along the Umngot River originating from the Jaintia Hills. Conclude the day with a
return journey to Shillong for an overnight stay.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, depart for Kaziranga, known for being the sanctuary of
the “One-Horned Rhinoceros.” Spanning 430 sq km, this area houses the largest population of

JEEP SAFARI-GUWAHATI-KERALA
Following a delicious breakfast, prepare for an
exciting jeep safari through the Central Range
(Kohora) of the park. This thrilling adventure
promises incredible views of rhinos and elephants in
their natural habitat, from adorable baby elephants
to the awe-inspiring elder ones. The tourism zone is
also home to a rich variety of wild plants and
animals, adding to the experience. Later in the day,
continuing your journey to Guwahati, located 203km
away and approximately 4-5 hours of driving time.
You’ll land at Guwahati Airport before catching your flight to Kerala.
